...Love...

A couple of minutes ago, I couldn't help myself from enjoying the amazing weather cuddling us tonight, just as so it inspired me to write a small thought down so here I share it with you...

...Here you come...
...You come and steal my calmness...
...But I do not feel alone when you leave...
...I am united to you...
...Between your heart and your soul...
...And am not perfect, but I have you...
...You are my perfection...
...You are my need...
...My whole and my belief...
No matter where your loved ones are, they will always create that pure perfection most think is unattainable. It is amazing how pure love can be such an unexplainable emotion which just fills your heart and better said completes your life to an incredible balance. It is just as if you are standing and walking over the ocean, just as amazing as this sounds it is even better than that, it is the gift of human creation and completion.

Your Road As A Teacher...

As I was skimming through my books of this semester's courses I came to the mere realization that they all emphasized one thing, your role as a teacher and the characteristics you must possess to deliver your duty successfully. However, for me this seemed somehow meaningless if I did not take the time to really understand what each concept meant. It is not just about giving a lesson to your students and hoping they will grab the true content behind it right away, it is more than that.
Being a teacher means being a facilitator to others, being someone whom others will look up to and get the greatest benefits, knowledge and wisdom. It is extremely important that we fully committ ourselves to our profession and not just consider it "a job" mainly because we are the ones who will modify a young mind and influence it to the maximum. It is extremely important to always adapt our teaching methods to accomodate our students regardless of their background, ethnicity, personality or abilities, we must always maintain a non biased view in order to permit a fair environment to those who we teach and those who will come in the future as well.

Do Traits Change Overtime?

Traits, are characteristics which make us who we are in life, they are just like blueprints which are inprinted on us when we are born. In my opinion, I believe that traits can change overtime to some extent and this can happen due to both environmental and experiential influences. Moreover, it is highly probable for an individual to experience the exact same behavior for a very long period of time however, an epiphany might take place which will permit him to observe his natural responses in a different perspective. If this takes place, then there is a great probability that an abrupt or subtle modification on the individual's behavior will occur permanently.
In order for us to explain this situation, we could start by saying that this person is showing traits that are totally new to the ones he had experienced previously, in other words this is a self realization. A good example to make my point clearer, would be someone who is always late for everything from classes to critical work meetings. As this person begins to grow older and his maturity level increases he will realize that his attitude or behavior is wrong and makes him clealry unreliable in the eyes of others, this self realization and influences to make various changes in order to become an individual whom others can depend on.

My Thoughts of The Day...

Today I felt inspired to write some of my thoughts down, crystal clear here they go...

...Here we are once again...
...In the world of hopes and faith...
...You wake up and feel the breeze...
...Comming while you are asleep...
...In the darkness you will rise ...
...Against all odds you will shine...
...Please believe you are alive...
...And welcome this paradise...
...Without faith we will fail...
...To believe in ourselves...
...So do not hesitate and see...
...That as long as your here...
...You will prevail throughout the years...

This is a little poem I have created to show that no matter how bad things might get at some point in our lives, we should have faith and believe in ourselves right there is when we will be able to reach happiness, the balance we all look for constantly, that open door we wish to see.

"Creativity" The Engine of Education!

As I was passing through the streets today I couldn't help but to notice some children hiding behind a tree and smiling about what they were doing, of course since I am not a really curious person (ironically) I approached them and took a closer look at what they were doing. To my surprise they had done an absolutely amazing grafitti on the wall of their school a drawing which to me seemed just perfect.

I attempted to ask them why they were doing so on this wall as it is highly prohibited in my town to do any kind of public disruption, and it was not a surprise when they said: "Well miss, we are not granted the opportunity to do it somewhere else!". At this moment, I sincerely felt sad just with the thought that our schools are not granting students the chance of developing a very important aspect in their lives, the engine of education... Creativity!.

Many individuals today do not really know what this word means, whether it is something that can be taught or pure inspiration that is only granted to some of us, so what is it?. I find it to be very simple, creativity is subjective and it is different when the eye of the beholder changes, it varies from inventing something to thinking about a mere thing and being able to modify it in order to uncover hidden knowledge this is why, I find it is extremely important to support its development specially at our schools and provide the measures to do so.

Why Education as a Profession?

As I looked over my previous posts, I realized that I never really gave my insight upon my decision to become an educator. It is very ironic that I never in a million years thought I would become a teacher, most of the times I did not feel I had the ability to transfer my knowledge into others. But it was not long ago that I finally felt it... yes that confidence that makes you just walk through the room with your head help up high and feel in your veins the need to inculcate something into others. It was not until I started tutoring children that my passion just drove into my heart. I knew at that mere moment, that I wanted to be a facilitator to others, an individual who could evoke a volcano of wisdom by all means.

Eventhough I never thought being an educator was such a great career, I have now completely changed my view upon this aspect. Neverthless, being someone who will determine the future of young children, the person who will help them develop themselves throughout the years just encourages me to do my duty as best as possible. In the end education is not only giving a concept to a child but giving pure knowledge that can be evolved with creativity and love of wisdom, thats the real essence of education.

Overcomming Life Changing Surprises...

Well, today was the day where everything I have gone through these couple of years blended together. By this I imply that my memories concerning education itself became crystal clear. Most of you do not know my story, but here it goes...

I was born in the island of Margarita located in Venezuela and lived there for 12 years which of course I will never forget; I had no true knowledge upon neither the Arabic nor the English language and it was an absolute suprise to me when my parents decided to come to Lebanon. So here I was, in a new country in an extremely new environment, and of course surrounded by a totally foreign not one but two languages, two that I had to learn as soon as possible. I must admitt, I was sort of depressed and overwhelmed by the pressure of having to follow an educational system which was so different from what I was used to, and not only did I jump two grades but also, I had to communicate with others using a language I did not even know existed.

Most of you must be saying, oh poor girl, I bet she really struggled to pass. But surprisingly I did not! I had set my mind to learn both English and Arabic as soon as possible, with no help from a private tutor. I started watching movies, reading books, even attempting to speak with others and permitting them to correct me. So there I was, putting my maximum effort to achieve what I once thought was unreacheable; soon enough I was able to speak with others and to my surprise get the highest grades in my class. Thats when I realized it, education itself was what permitted me to stand on my feet, the thirst to achieve everything and anything I set my mind to accomplish. True education lies within us, we are the ones that enhace its development and give it its real meaning in life.

What is My Purpose in Life?

Today, I woke up with an ungoing question in my head, "What is my purpose in life?". This question somehow popped in my head out of nowhere. Never in a thousand years would I happen to think about it, so What is my purpose in life? Why am I here?; as I tried to answer this question, I got lost, lost in the true meaning of my existence. My head was somehow in a blank state trying to relate or find the truth to my mere presence in this world, but as I contiued to look for an answer I stopped and looked up in the sky. Yes, there it was, I was sent by God into this world by a reason, to make a difference with my existence, to allow others to see the world with a wider perspective than the one they hold within them. My purpose in life, is to guide others to reach true knowledge and to discover new pathways in their lives attaining things they never thought they could reach.

If you think about it, the thought of our existence is somehow fascinating, so many theories of why we were created have come into question throughout the years. They vary from mere scientific basis to religious points of view, although nothing is certain one thing remains clear; we think so we exist, and if we exist there is a spirit which is omnipresent among us, so when you look at the sky, are you really alone?.

Nature & Knowledge..

Today, I woke up and decided to look over some old books I had saved in a box a couple of years ago. As I started looking over them, I could't help but to remember they were my diaries, yes, as lame as it might sound I kept records of every single moment I had spent over the years. It all became crystal clear for me, when I couldn't stop reading through their endless pages and there it was, my pure fascination for education from its mere beggining to its infinite growth.

Then I read it, that sentence which pulled me back to reality... "Is nature the root of our whole education?". A question I never happened to answer, maybe just underestimated as well. So there I was, a little shocked by my own personal discovery of a question I was never able to answer. Having a blank mind looking for an answer, I sat down in the middle of my beautiful spring garden and looked deeply at everything that surrounded me, from the crystal clear clouds whose colors were astonishing to the green trees, which reminded me of the thousands of organisms that revolved around them. As I felt the cold breeze I could then link it all, I am a scientist and the mere basics for everything I am today and all of the things I know were surrounding me right there from the small organisms flying around me to the smell of the roses which were craving for the sun to shine through them. So there I could conclude, we cannot understand human intellectual before understanding human nature first, we are nurtured by nature itself it is within us no matter what we do. We were all children, and each one of us had the opportunity to think how tall we should make a stair to be able to reach the moon, or how many animals we could see in the sky. Our creativity begins with what surrounds us, and that right there is the beggining of our education as future human beings.

"Life" Our True Inspiration...

We are born to believe that life is a complicated road, a path where we will encounter good and bad times however I strongly believe that it is up to us to make the most out of it. It is funny when I sit down and think of all the things I had written down on a list to do throughout my life, full of hopes and wishes; it is not ironic, but rewarding as I have been able to accomplish most of them with plenty of hardwork and optimism.

I will not lie to you, yes life is indeed hard and it might shut a door right on your face however, when one door closes another one opens and as human beings we strive to our maximum potential once we see a small opportunity, a chance to be successful, a hope to be someone who will be remembered in life. I will make this short, believe that you can be who you want to be in life, you are unique, and you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to accomplish, integrate education into your life, any type from arts to science and soon enough you will see pure inspiration rise through your veins.
Believe...!
