As I was skimming through my books of this semester's courses I came to the mere realization that they all emphasized one thing, your role as a teacher and the characteristics you must possess to deliver your duty successfully. However, for me this seemed somehow meaningless if I did not take the time to really understand what each concept meant. It is not just about giving a lesson to your students and hoping they will grab the true content behind it right away, it is more than that.
Being a teacher means being a facilitator to others, being someone whom others will look up to and get the greatest benefits, knowledge and wisdom. It is extremely important that we fully committ ourselves to our profession and not just consider it "a job" mainly because we are the ones who will modify a young mind and influence it to the maximum. It is extremely important to always adapt our teaching methods to accomodate our students regardless of their background, ethnicity, personality or abilities, we must always maintain a non biased view in order to permit a fair environment to those who we teach and those who will come in the future as well.
