As I looked over my previous posts, I realized that I never really gave my insight upon my decision to become an educator. It is very ironic that I never in a million years thought I would become a teacher, most of the times I did not feel I had the ability to transfer my knowledge into others. But it was not long ago that I finally felt it... yes that confidence that makes you just walk through the room with your head help up high and feel in your veins the need to inculcate something into others. It was not until I started tutoring children that my passion just drove into my heart. I knew at that mere moment, that I wanted to be a facilitator to others, an individual who could evoke a volcano of wisdom by all means.
Eventhough I never thought being an educator was such a great career, I have now completely changed my view upon this aspect. Neverthless, being someone who will determine the future of young children, the person who will help them develop themselves throughout the years just encourages me to do my duty as best as possible. In the end education is not only giving a concept to a child but giving pure knowledge that can be evolved with creativity and love of wisdom, thats the real essence of education.

That’s very beautiful Rima. You seem to have all what it needs to be a great teacher. I always believe that if you love teaching, then teach for sure! No matter how hard it might be or even get , but the smile the students put on your face at the end of the day is worth millions
ReplyDeleteHello Lama, thank you for sharing your thoughts! That is right, just the actual thought of seeing our students smile gives us an unexplainable reward worth more than we could ever explain!.
DeleteI think you are really born as a teacher; I like the simplicity how you can express your thoughts and could translate it to others. The problem is that you rarely see any person wishing to be a teacher... It has been always a secondary professional :(
ReplyDeleteThank you Baraah! I am glad I was able to deliver my thoughts to you and to others as well, and you are right the sad thing nowadays is that noone really loves to be a teacher which discourages greatly our students don't you think?.
DeleteSure you can be that good teacher, when you just love your job, you will work hard to be perfect in it.Just believe in yourself and in your abilities.
ReplyDeleteHi Maria, thats right believing in yourself is one of the most important qualities a good teacher needs, having self confidence will for sure facilitate our duty as teachers no matter how hard it is.
